  • Colored paper; red, green, mauve, purple, white, black
  • A pair of scissors
  • Glue
  • Compass

✨ Step 2: Deciding the base

Paper Circle Mouse Craft for Kids – Step by Step

  • The most important thing is to decide the base for the craft.
  • You can choose a black colored paper or any other dark-coloured paper.
  • Use a compass to draw a large sized circle.
  • Cut this circle out with the help of a pair of scissors.
  • Take a green colored paper and draw a circle on it using a compass.
  • Cut this circle out with the help of a pair of scissors.
  • Now stick this circle on the black circular base.

✨ Step 3: Adding mouse body to the base

  • Take the green colored paper and draw a smaller circle with the help of compass and a pencil.
  • Now cut this circle out with the help of a pair of scissors.
  • Stick this smaller circle below the larger circle on the black paper.

✨ Step 4: Adding ears to the Mouse

  • Now we will be adding the ears to this mouse.
  • Take a purple colored paper sheet.
  • Draw two small sized circles on the purple paper with the help of compass.
  • Now cut these two circles out with a pair of scissors.
  • Stick these two ears on top of the larger green circle stuck on the base.

✨ Step 5: Adding details to the Mouse craft

  • Now we have the basic structure of the paper circle mouse craft.
  • Now we will add some details to this mouse craft.
  • Take a red colored paper.
  • Draw a circle on this red paper smaller in size than the ears size.
  • Stick this red circle on one of the purple ears of the mouse.
  • This adds more definition to the mouse ears.

✨ Step 6: Adding eyes and feet

  • Now we will be adding more details to this mouse craft.
  • Take white paper. Draw a circle on this sheet with compass.
  • Cut this circle out with a pair of scissors.
  • Stick this circle on one side of the face of the mouse.
  • Now using a black colored paper, draw and cut an even smaller circle.
  • Stick this smaller black circle inside the white circle.
  • This completes the eye of the mouse.
  • To make the round nose of the nose, we will use red colored paper.
  • Draw a circle on the red paper. Cut this circle out.
  • Now stick it in the front of the face of the mouse.
  • For feet of mouse, take light purple colored paper
  • Cut two thin strips from this sheet and stick them at the base.
  • These become the legs of the mouse.
  • Now draw and cut a circle from this sheet. Cut it in half.
  • Stick these half circles below the thin strip legs of the mouse.
  • To detail, the feet of the mouse use dark purple paper and cut smaller semi-circles.
  • Paste these semi-circles inside the previously attached light purple semi-circles.

✨ Step 7: Adding nose and limbs to the mouse craft

  • Now we will be adding the hands to the mouse.
  • We will need red colored paper for this.
  • Take tomato red colored paper and cut out a semi-circle out of it.
  • Now stick this semi-circle in front of the body of the mouse.
  • Cut a thinner semi-circle in a darker shade of red paper.
  • Stick this dark red semi-circle on top of the lighter one.
  • This compliments the hands of the mouse and looks pretty.

✨ Step 8: Adding a tail

  • Now the body of the mouse is almost complete.
  • We will start making the tail of the mouse.
  • You’ll need tomato red colored paper.
  • Cut a small semi-circle from this red paper.
  • Stick this semi-circle at the back of the body of the mouse.

  • A mouse’s tail is quite long.
  • Now we will add more such tangy tomato red semi-circles to the first semi-circle to make the tail longer.
  • Cut out same sized semi-circles from the red paper.
  • Stick these semi-circles end to end with each other.
  • This beautiful paper circle mouse craft is ready to decorate your room.
  • You can flaunt your colorful mouse craft among your friends.
