Kids special craft tutorial making Hand drum!
Material Required
- small cardboard circular box
- pencil
- Cord – cotton
- craft paint
- Wooden Beads & Stick
- Scissors
- Sharp Needle or Awl
- Stamps
- Double sided masking tape
Step 1:
In circular cardboard, make 3 holes as shown in the images with the wooden stick.These holes will be used to insert the cords.
Step 2:
Decorate the wooden stick with the masking tape.
Step 3:
Color your wooden beads and keep them for a while to make them dry.
Step 4:
You can decorate both sides of drum with your favorite stamp
Step 5:
Now it is time to make cords. The length of the cord should be enough that it can reach to middle of the drum. Attach the bead with cord and put it in the hole created on opposite sides in the circular box. You need to make knot so that it do not come out.
Step 6:
Now it is time to cover the box and stick them with double sided tape and put the wooden stick through the hole. You can put glue to fix the wooden stick with the box.
Now, you are ready with your drum. Take the drum in your hand and twist your hand to have wonderful sound of it.
