Things You May Need
- Candle wicks
- Candle holder
- Glue
- Vegetable shortening
- Essential oils
- Colors: Turmeric or Food Colors
Step 1: Prepare the Wicks
Create a stand for wick and glue it to bottom of the container.
Step 2: Melt the Vegetable Shortening
Melt the shortening in a pot at low temperature with regular stirring to avoid formation of clamps.
Step 3: Color Your Shortening
You can color the shortening with natural colors like turmeric or you can also used food colors. Mix the color in liquid shortening and add some oil while stirring.
Step 4: Freeze the Candle
You need to keep stirring till the movement of spoon get tapped so that oil and color do not get separated. Wait for few minutes, your candle would be ready.
