1. DIY Jewelry Box
Things You Need
- Scissors
- Cardboard
- Glue gun
- Craft Knife
Procedure
- Take a cardboard sheet and cut out a hexagonal base and six square pieces for the sides. Of the base. The sides of the squares should be the same as sides of the hexagon.
- Paste the sides of the hexagon on the base using glue.
- Take six more pieces of the same measurements, using craft knife make creases on the cardboard so that it can bend into a curved shape.
- Paste these curved pieces on the outer sides of the box, cut out small eye like slits for the sides to cover the curved sides.
- For making, the edges of the box take six pieces of cardboard and cut them into shape to form the edges.
- Now to make the lid cut out a small hexagon and paste six pieces of cardboard to it on all sides.
- Paint the box and the lid to finish the box.
2. Diwali Newspaper Ganesha
Things You Need
- Newspaper
- Glue
- Ganesh image
- Paint or spray paint
Procedure:
- Make pipes out of rolls of newspaper and join the ends together to form a circle by rolling it tightly.
- Glue the end of the roll as well as apply glue overall roll so that it does not open up.
- When dry, use spray paint or any paint to fill the roll. Then paste the Ganesh image on the paper coin. The newspaper Ganesh is now finished.
3. Diwali Newspaper Frame
Things you need
- Newspaper roll
- Acrylic color
- Laxmi- Ganesha picture
- Cardboard
- Brush
- Scale
- Scissors
- Fevicol
Procedure:
- Take the newspaper and make pipe like rolls out of it. Take a sheet of paper and stick five rolls together.
- Make four such pieces and cut them at the edges to form a frame. Paste them together by using cardboard triangle cutouts at the ends.
- Now paint the frame using color for your choice. Take the picture of Laxmi Ganesha and apply glue on the edges. Paste the frame into a place to complete your frame.
4. Diwali Greeting Card for Parents
Things You Need
- Paper crimper
- Glue
- Quilling Strips
- Quilling Tool
- Gifting card
- Paper card
Procedure
- Take the quilling strip, cut it in half and make crimps using crimping paper, make a loose curl and paste the end, take another strip and roll it to form a leaf shape by shaping it.
- Make multiple such leaves and round flowers by repeating this process.
- Take a twig and paste it on the paper card. Stick the flower loose roll and leaves on the card.
- Take a colorful sheet of paper, write “Happy Diwali” on it, and paste it on the card.

5. DIY Scented Candle Gifts for Parents
Things you need
- Old shot glass
- Masking tape
- Glue
- Glitter powder
- Wick
- Scented oil
Procedure
- Take the old shot glass and apply masking tape horizontally on the glass, take another strip and place it a bit below the tape.
- Apply glue on the surface of the glass outside. Take glitter powder and sprinkle it on the powder.
- After it dries, remove the tape to get the design.
- You can do more designs by changing the masking tape position. Take a wick and paste one end on the bottom of the glass.
- To melt the wax, use a utensil on gas to heat it and place another utensil inside with wax to melt it. Use scented oil in the molten wax.

- Colorful cardboard sheet 25 x 20 cm
- Ruler

Procedure
- Take a colorful sheet of cardboard paper and using a ruler fold it 5 cm inwards from m the edge, to create marking creases.
- Using scissors, cut at the inward ends of intersections to make it into a box. Paste the ends using glue to create the box.
- Taking two small pieces of the same paper and cut two rectangles to paste and create sections in the box.
- For making, the lid repeats the process just fold the box 2.5 cm inwards and repeat the process.
- Cut out the middle of the box to paste a piece of plastic sheet to make the gifts visible from inside.
- Now take decorative stickers and place them on the edges on the sections in the middle as well as around the sheet frame on the box lid. Your gift box is ready.
7. DIY Laxmi Paduka Diwali Gifts for Parents
Things you need
- Plastic sheet
- 3d outlines
- Glue
- Paint
- Scissors
- Silk thread
- Decorative stones
Procedure
- Draw a design of feet on a piece of paper, cut it out to use as a stencil to cut a sheet of plastic in the same shape.
- Then using glue paste the silk thread on the sheet to make out line for feet. You can also use beaded thread.
- Now take decorative stones and outline the feet around the thread. Use different shaped stones for toes.
- Take more stones to decorate the middle and ends of the feet.
- Take the paper feet cut out and color it red, upon drying use 3d outlines to make a pattern, on drying paste the paper below the decorated plastic sheet.
- Repeat the same process for the other foot to complete the Laxmi Paduka.

Things You Need
- Mirror round
- Glue gun
- Scissors
- Paint
- Cardboard
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Brochette wooden sticks
- Golden pearls, Decorative flowers
- Compass
Procedure
- Take a cardboard sheet and trace the edges of the mirror onto the cardboard.
- Using scissors or cutter cut out the shape obtained on the cardboard.
- Take brochette wooden sticks and golden pearls and paste the pearls on on end of each stick.
- Using a compass trace two circles in the middle of the cardboard. They will act as markings for pasting the sticks at different lengths. The sticks will be alternating long and short throughout.
- Paste the sticks in to place and then the mirror onto them, outline the mirror with decorative flowers, and randomly paste them onto the sticks as well. The mirror is ready to glam your walls.
