National Army Drawing for kids (Step by Step Tutorials)

Easy army drawings are best way to pay tribute to soldiers by children at school. So at this national army day we brought you several tutorials and ideas for drawing of armed forces.

National Army Day is celebrated on 15th January every year to commemorate the sacrifices our armed men make for the civilians. This day marks their valor and bravery. We must value each of their sacrifices. Each armed man has left behind their family to secure the nation. We must never forget the hardships they go through to keep the nation safe and sound. To present a tribute to army force of India, we are presenting easy ideas of drawing of army.

Army Drawing: Hosting national flag after battle

We are first going to explore an easy oil pastel army day drawing tutorial. First of all make a tricolor background. Use a piece of paper to mix the colors. Use a black oil pastel to make the outlines and make mountains at the base. Now color everything at the base in black colour. Turn it to jet black by going hard with the color stick. Now use a sharpie pen or an 8B pencil to make the soldiers and the Indian national flag in of the soldier’s hands. Simple Painting of Flag and all three forces

In this painting we will first draw flag, soldiers of Indian army, airforce and navy, then paint them with color. We are first going to explore an easy oil pastel army day drawing tutorial. Drawing of Indian Army & Helicopter

First of all take a pastel sheet, tape it to the base and start spreading the colours, orange white and green. Shade at the edges of the sheet. Now smudge the colors and blend all the lines in between. This forms the base of the drawing. Remove the tapes from all the edges. Now we come to drawing the main portion of the drawing. Using a black sharpie pen, mark the lower base and fill it with a black marker. Now draw three jawaans in the middle. And fill them in with black marker. Draw a helicopter hovering above the jawaans. National army drawing-Step by Step tutorial for kids

Take a pastel sheet and tape it from the edges to the base. Now use a pencil to mark out the base of the drawing. Using a yellow oil pastel, colour the upper region. Use an orange oil pastel to colour the outer edges of the area. Now blend the colours using a piece of paper. Use a black oil pastel to color the base of the drawing. You can use a sharpie pen to draw the flag staff, the flag and the kneeling soldier with a gun. Now use an eraser to erase the color from the flag area and then color it in appropriate colors. National Army Drawing Remember Freedom fighter

Now we are going to experiment with water colors. First of all draw the base for the drawing, the upper layer, the flag and the base of it. Use a watercolor sheet preferably. Now use water on the upper part and spread the shades of yellow, orange and red. Now in the base, use greens. Using a sketch pen draw the soldiers and the flag. Color the flag using the sketch pens of appropriate colors. A group of soldiers holding the flag staff will do. Draw the soldiers in full army dress. A tribute to our Indian Army Officer Drawing using Pencil

Now let us take up the shading technique on this army day special edition. First of all draw the basic form of the complete picture that is a soldier saluting the tricolor. Now start with the detailing in the basic structure. Fill in the details and start shading the soldier first. Feel free to draw and redraw whenever and wherever you do not feel satisfied with your drawing. Show the emotion of gratitude and absolutism towards the nation in the eyes of the soldier. Now darken the spokes of the Ashoka chakra and complete the tricolor. For better understanding look up:
