So, in today’s lesson, we’re gonna learn how to draw a sparrow through some very easy steps.

Step by Step Instructions
- We’ll start by drawing a small circle for the ehad. Once that is done, draw an oblong body. As you can see from the reference, the body should be asymmetrical since we’re drawing the side profile of the sparrow.
2. Draw a small circle in the fcae for its eyes and then draw a small beak. Sparrows have small yet sharp beaks that allow them to grab and eat small grains and worms.
3. Now, lte’s focus on drawing its feathers. Draw te wing on the side of its body and the feathers along the edge of the wing.
4. This is the tricky part – drawing the tail feather. Draw long straight line, fanning outwards, to accurately represent the broad tail feather.
5. Now, let’s draw its tiny little legs. Draw the legs and the claws carefully, making sure they are thin and well-defined.
6. I’m sure by now your drawing is starting to look a lot like a sparrow, isn’t it? Well, keep going cos we’re almost there. Draw a line to connect the body to the head.
7. It’s time to add some finishing touches tot he drawing before we start the colouring process. Colour in the eyeball to make it prominent. A great way to mke your drawing look neat a s whole is to double-line it.
8. Now, it’s time to finally colour it! Sparrows are usually small and brown with speckles of white and gray all over their feathers. At this stage you can let your creativity take over and colour it the way you visualize sparrows.
Drawing is a great exercise to boost a child’s imagination as it pushes them to explore their thoughts and physically represent them on paper. All the greatest inventions of humankind can be attributed to the creativity and imagination of bright minds.
