Pen stands are made to keep your stuffs in one place, it is used in schools, offices, home to keep things like pen, pencil, eraser, stapler and a lot more. There are various styles of pen stand made of newspaper, ice cream sticks, colorful paper. Lets look at some creative ideas to make your own pen stands.

Colorful chart paper stand

This stand is made using various colorful chart papers which is an easy one to make

Materials 

  • A4 size colorful paper
  • Glue gun
  • Glass bottle
  • scissor
  • Gum
  • Pen

Procedure

  1. Take pen and a chart paper, start rolling the chart paper over the pen.
  2. Cut the extra paper and stick it with glue
  3. Repeat the same procedure for other paper tubes
  4. Paper tubes are ready
  5. Take a glass bottle and chart paper start rolling it over the bottle, cut the excessive paper and stick it
  6. Now you have paper tubes and bottle tube ready
  7. Start sticking the role you prepared all  over the glass tubes horizontally
  8. Cut a paper in round shape and stick it below the stand
  9. Your colorful paper pen stand is ready

Popsicle Pen Stand

Are you a ice cream lover?? And you have it on daily basis enjoy your ice cream and make something best and wonderful out of it. A popsicle pen stand!! Sounds interesting?? Lets make this wonderful stand out of waste.

Materials

  • 22 popsicle sticks
  • Hot glue gun
  • Net cloth ( ask your mom to give it)
  • Yellow craft paper
  • Silver border lase
  • Cardboard
  • A round bottle ( jam bottle will do)

Procedure

  1. Take a round bottle take popsicle sticks, start sticking it all around the bottle.
  2. Once all the sticks are done sticking take net cloth with the help of hot glue gun stick it around the popsicle
  3. Cut the excessive cloth for neatness
  4. Take the sliver lase and put it below the bottle
  5. Take a hard cardboard stick to give a base to your pencil stand

Your popsicle pencil stand is ready to use!

A plastic bottle holder

It is made up of any plastic bottle at your home. To keep your stuff at a place. One of the easiest and most available way to make pen stand and decorate it as per your creativity

Materials

  • Sequins
  • Glitter
  • White glue
  • Bottle

Procedure

  1. Take any bottle and cut it from the upper side that is the edge of your bottle.
  2. Now using the below portion put glue all round the bottle
  3. Take your sequins and start sprinkling on the bottle as per your wish
  4. Then sprinkle glitter on it to make it more pretty
  5. Make sure the glue doesn’t get wet otherwise the material won’t stick properly
  6. You can make design of your choice

Your plastic bottle pen holder is ready!!

Tricolor pen stand

There are various forms to make a pen holder lets make a tricolor pen stand with chart paper. Which is very pretty and includes the colors of our national flag.

Materials

  • Toilet paper roll
  • Fevicol
  • Scissor
  • Chart paper of three colors white, green,orange.

Procedure

  1. Take all three Colors of chart paper cut it in 30cm
  2. Now you have three sheets of 30 cm each, stick all three of them together
  3. Now take the toilet paper roll and using glue stick the sheet properly which you prepared.
  4. Make flower from the left over paper and stick it on the pen stand.

Your tricolor pen stand is ready!

Shoe pen holder

Made of plastic bottles giving a shoe shape it is beautiful and one of the best form of pen holder.

Material

  • Two bottle
  • A jeans cloth
  • Cardboard
  • Pencil
  • Scissor
  • Tape

Procedure

  1. Take bottle cut the edge of it the below portion to be used.
  2. Take another bottle cut it from the centre now you have a portion of bottle.
  3. Cut both them into to pieces they should be in equal parts.
  4. Now take the bottle which you had cut previously and stick it horizontally to the other bottle which you have cut, it will give you a shoe size  shape.
  5. Don’t use glue in this making the use of tape stick it.
  6. Take a cardboard cut it for the base of your shoe pen stand.
  7. Measuring is essential factor and then stick the cardboard to the bottle to give a base
  8. Once this is done keep it aside.
  9. Now the next step is to cover your shoe stand with jeans cloth.
  10. Taking measurement of various portion of your stand cut the jeans pieces first.
  11. After cutting them with the help of tape stick  it all around the body of it.
  12. Once this is done you will see a beautiful made stand and obviously if it is a shoe there should a lase to it.
  13. Cutting holes for lase and putting the cotton lase to those holes.
  14. Cut the excessive thread and give it a nice finishing.

Your cute shoe pen stand is ready to use!!

Newspaper pen stand

Recycle your newspaper and make something beautiful out of it and paint it beautifully.

Materials

  • Cardboard
  • Newspaper roles
  • Brush
  • Scissor
  • Pencil

Procedure

  1. Take a square shape of cardboard you will require two of them
  2. Now cut little portion of the edges of cardboard to give a curve shape
  3. To save time prepare the newspaper sticks using a pencil before itself
  4. Now stick one roll on all four sides of the square and stick the other cardboard to it
  5. Now using glue go on joining the rolls of the newspaper and start folding them into opposite direction
  6. Keep on going once you have enough height of your newspaper pen stand
  7. Once the height is appropriate for the stand you will a beautiful shape formed
  8. Now using the brush very gently start coloring your stand
  9. Once done let it dry

Your newspaper pen stand is ready!

Ice- cream stick stand

Materials

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Pen
  • fevicol
  • Smiley stickers

Procedure

  1. On a base take two popsicle sticks place them vertically and then add popsicle sticks horizontally. Your base is ready.
  2. Now turn the base and repeat the same procedure.
  3.  Continuing on the same side now add the sticks horizontally till the centre is covered.
  4. Take two sticks stick behind your stand in triangular shape, add smile design and decorate it  with pen.

Your stand is ready!

Star shape pen stand

Is a beautiful colorful stand made of chart paper. Which is in star shape and made very easily.

Materials

  • Colorful chart papers
  • Pencil
  • Scale
  • Glue
  • Scissor
  • Cardboard

Procedure

  1. First step is to make thin chart paper rolls using a pencil
  2. Once the rolls are ready using a pencil make four equal marking on each rolls
  3. Now fold according to the marking which you made, you will a triangular star shape
  4. Repeat the procedure for all the rolls
  5. Take a cardboard and cut it in the star shape and start sticking those shapes on cardboard  making a star shape

Your stand is ready

Pen stands can be made from many other things like steel Cannes, ice cream sticks and so many more. Helps you in building your creativity skills and makes you artistic. Go on making your own pencil stands for yourself and teach your friends too.
