  1. 10 Ice-cream sticks
  2. Elastic Rubber bands
  3. Any color paint of your choice
  4. A cap of any unused bottle
  5. Glue (preferably one that sticks plastic)
  6. Paint Brush

How to do it?

  1. Paint all the ice-cream sticks with your desired color.
  2. Bundle up 5 sticks and tie it on both the ends with elastic bands.
  3. Take 2 more sticks. Tie it in a similar way,but only at one end.
  4. Place the bundled up sticks near the tied end of the two sticks.
  5. Tie all of them together using elastic bands as shown in the picture. (Ensure that the flap is movable)
  6. Stick the bottle cap on one end of one of the movable sticks.

Your catapult is ready to shoot off.

Materials required:

  1. 5 ice-cream sticks
  2. Colored marker pens
  3. Holder wooden clips
  4. Glue
  5. Bottle caps as shown

How to do it?

  1. Make stripes (or any other design) on the ice-cream sticks with colored markers.
  2. Stick it on the clips as shown in the picture.
  3. Now, stick the bottle cap on the free end of the ice-cream stick.

Your catapult is ready in just 5 minutes. Make as many as you wish and play with your friends.

Materials required:

  1. Wooden sticks
  2.  Bunch/roll of thread to tie
  3. A bottle cap
  4. Glue

How to make it?

  1. Take the wooden sticks and arrange it in the form as it is shown in the picture. (Try arranging part by part and not all at once)
  2. Make the lower framework and then the upper portion.
  3. Tie the threads in a sequence in the front portion.
  4. Ensure that the pull for the catapult is properly made.
  5. Stick the bottle cap on the extreme front end of the pull.

Very easy to make, this can make your vacations more adventurous.

Materials required:

  1. Wooden holder clip
  2. Paints of your choice
  3. Bottle cap
  4. Cardboard
  5. Straws
  6. Cello-tape
  7. Glue

How to do it?

  1. Take the cardboard. Paint it with a color of your choice.
  2. Take the straws and bend it in the shape of the goal court.
  3. Paste them on the cardboard with the help of cello-tape.
  4. Now,take the clip. Paste the colored ice-cream sticks on either side of the clip.
  5. Paste one side on the cardboard with the help of glue.
  6. On the other ice-cream stick, paste the bottle cap.

This triangular catapult will make the objects fly and disappear at a distance.

Materials required:

  1. Long and strong wooden sticks
  2. Threads to tie up the sticks
  3. An use and throw  glass

How to make it?

  1. Make the lower framework by tying up the sticks with threads.
  2. Tie one stick at each end of the framework for the upper triangular portion.
  3.  Attach the glass from two lower ends and the above congregation.

All good to go is the rocket catapult. Pull the glass and shoot it off.

Materials required:

  1. Parts of the puzzle toys
  2. Elastic bands

How to do it?

  1. Attach all the blocks of the toys as shown in the picture.
  2. Make sure the support is strong enough.
  3. Tie the band so as to make the two rectangular parts movable.

All the pieces of your old toys came together to create a perfect new catapult for you. You can use various other toys to make this catapult as per the availability.

It might look like a complex molecular compound, like the ones in chemistry books, but believe me, it’s not at all difficult. You can make this in 10 minutes.

Materials required:

  1. Soft Clay or dough rolls (the white cylindrical ones in the picture)
  2. Thin sticks
  3. Elastic bands
  4. A disposable spoon

How to do it?

  1. Make 4 clay balls cylindrical in shape as shown.
  2. Pierce the sticks into them as in the picture. (Be careful enough while doing so)
  3. Ensure that the sticks  pierced into the clay rolls take the triangular shape as shown above.
  4. Attach the spoon to the top end with the help of elastic bands.

You can even use this as a model in a science exhibition and showcase some amazing catapult tricks.

  1. Cardboard rolls
  2. Long wooden stirrer/spoon
  3. Elastic bands

How to do?

  1. Tie both the rolls with the help of bands. (can also use tape for keeping it intact)
  2. Attach the spoon with the help of bands again.

Toss, pop, target anything you want with this catapult.

  1. Colored sticks
  2. Discs with holes to insert the sticks
  3. Elastic bands

How to do it?

  1. Ensure that the discs are not too big.
  2. Insert the sticks in the discs as it is shown in the picture.
  3. Take 2 discs at a time.
  4. Join them further with the help of bands.
  5. Take a long stick and attach it to topmost disc.
  6. In a similar way, attach one more disc which acts as base for the object.
