1. Paper Plate Panda Paper Plate masks craft

Things You Need

  • Paper plate
  • Black Fabric
  • Scissors
  • Marker
  • Stapler
  • Glue
  • String

Procedure

  • Draw eye holes on the paper plate and cut them out. Take the black fabric and cut out the outline of the eyes of the panda, you will need oval shapes for this around the eyes.
  • Cut the pieces along an arc to paste around the eyes. Take another piece of fabric to cut out the panda’s nose and mouth.
  • For the panda’s ears you will have to take two pieces of fabric and paste them together, cut out the ear shape and paste them on the face.
  • Using a marker join the remaining lines around the face to complete it.
    Using the stapler, fix the strings near the eyes and tape the end for comfort. The pandas mask is now ready.

2. Watermelon Face Mask craft

Things you need

  • Felt fabric
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Palin mask
  • Marker
  • Cutting knife

Procedure

  • Take red felt fabric and cut out a semicircle for the watermelon mask base. Trace the outline of the arch on green felt fabric. Extend it outwards few inches and cut it out. Using glue paste it to the red arc.
  • Repeat the same process for the dark green felt fabric to add the green border at the outer side.
  • Take a mask and trace the eye sockets onto the watermelon sheet. Draw watermelon seeds using a marker onto the felt.
  • With a cutting knife cut out the eye sockets. Cut out small arched cuts to make the watermelon seem eaten at the top.
  • Staple the basic mask onto the watermelon to complete our watermelon mask.

3. Dinosaur paper plate Mask craft

Thing you need

  • Three paper plates
  • Two googly eyes
  • Poster paints
  • Scissors
  • Double-sided tape
  • Pencil
  • Glue
  • Ruler
  • String or elastic cord

Procedure

  • Paint one paper plate yellow, flip it over and paint it red.
  • With another paper plate, fold the plate in half, crease it, and then unfold and fold in half again at 90 degrees from the first fold.
  • Using a pencil and a ruler, mark 1.5 cm on each side of the center of the plate and mark each point with a pencil mark. Draw two eyeholes and cut them out. With half of the plate. Paint the half yellow.
  • Take the first plate, fold it in half, cut out a slit pass the middle portion of the other plate through the slit, and secure it with double-sided tape. Staple the two masks together.
  • Glue googly eyes on the mask. Make holes at the sides for the string to tie the mask.
  • Paint the third plate green and let it dry, using a ruler draw four 9 cm triangles and cut them out from the green plate Draw 6 teeth from the white plate and cut them out.

4. Dragon paper plate Mask craft

Things you need

  • Large paper plate
  • A4 gold and red metallic card
  • 2 A4 green metallic card
  • Blue and silver craft paint
  • Paintbrush
  • pencil and ruler
  • Scissors and stapler
  • Glue
  • Tape
  • String and hole punch
  • Circle palm puncher

Procedure

  • Take the large paper plate, flip it over, draw the eyes, and face shape of the dragon with a pencil.
  • Cut the eyes and the face shape using scissors. Mix blue and metallic silver paint for a metallic blue color and paint the face. Punch two holes at the sides and tie strings to tie the mask to wear it.
  • Take the green paper and on the opposite side draw a long nose shape, cut it out, and fold the shape from the middle using a ruler and cut a slit at the top. Fold the slits to bring closer and staple the end together.
  • Take the gold paper, in the form of a small square, trace the nostril design onto it, cut into shape, and paste it over the green paper.
  • More green paper and cut it into a wavy ear pattern, create folds in between using a ruler.
  • Take red paper, fold it in half and cut out the same pattern as the green ears were and repeat the process for the same effect. Staple the shapes together.
  • Trace out the crown design of the dragon and with remaining paper cut out a stylish pattern for the dragon.
  • Now start stapling these parts onto the paper plate mask one by one in place. In addition, some parts with glue.
    With the circle puncher cut out circles of various sizes to paste for added effect. You can use scissors and cut circles if it is not available. The dragon mask is ready to wear.

5. Elephant Mask With Blowing Trunk

Things you need

  • Blue, pink chart paper
  • Straws
  • Scissors
  • glue

Procedure

  • Cut out two blue circles, a long strip for the trunk from the blue chart paper, and two small blue ovals from the pink chart paper.
  • Take a blue circle, cut it in half to form two semi-circles. Now take the other blue circle and cut out two round eye sockets using scissors, as well as an opening for the straw hole and trunk below the eyes.
  • Pate the two semicircles on both sides to form the ears of the elephant. Paste the two ovals in between the ears.
  • Insert the trunk in the slit we made before and fold it to paste it from the back. Take the straw and cut it a bit.
  • Pass it through the hole and paste it to the trunk.
  • Paste the other straw to the side of the mask to hold it. The elephant mask is now ready.

6. Unicorn paper plate Mask craft

Things you need

  • Paper plate
  • Yarn in different colors
  • Pencil
  • Coin
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Hole punch
  • Glue gun
  • Glitter paper

Procedure

  • Take the paper plate and with the help of a coin trace the outline to make eye sockets. Cut them out using scissors.
  • Take a piece of paper folded in half two cut out identical ears and paint the middle pink using a marker.
  • Using a hole puncher punch out holes on the outline of the plate. Now take strands of yarn of varied colours to knot in the holes to make hair. Using the glue gun put glue on the knots to keep them secure.
  • Take glitter paper, cut out a horn for the unicorn, and paste it using a glue gun on the top. Now paste the ears on both sides of the horn.
  • Punch more holes at one side of the mask to put hair for the mane of the unicorn repeating the process of putting yarn the same as before. Using a black marker add facial features; glue a stick at the bottom to hold the mask by hand. The mystical unicorn mask is ready.

7. Bird Mask craft

Things you need

  • Blue and yellow craft paper
  • Scissors
  • Marker
  • Glue stick
  • Stapler
  • Strings
  • Tape
  • Thick paper
  • Colored pencils

Procedure

  • Take your piece of paper and fold it in half, this is the base of the mask. Draw an eye hole and a rough area to stick feathers on the mask. Cut out the mask and the eye hole.
  • To prepare some feathers take the blue paper and fold it as many times possible to cut through to cut multiple feathers from one paper. Try cutting different shapes and sizes.
    Start glueing them on the mask from the outside edge inwards. Try to keep larger feathers towards the outside edge and decreasing size inwards.
  • Once covered with feathers, leaving the middle, take the yellow paper, fold it in half, cut along the fold and create a cone shape. Glue the edge of the cone to keep it in place. Fold along the outside line edges and cut the desired size of the beak.
  • To Attach your beak to the ask cut along the two outside lines and in the middle of the beak. Fold the flaps and paste it into place. Cover the flaps with more feathers.
  • Take coloring pencils and add more color for texture. Using a marker add facial details on the beak and eyes.
  • Using a pencil roll feathers downwards using a pencil to give them a ruffled effect.
  • Turn your mask over and staple the strings near the height of the eye sockets. Then put tape over the string so that it feels more comfortable to wear. The bird mask is now ready.

8. Paper Dog Mask

Things you need

  • Mask Template
  • Paper plate
  • Paint and paintbrush
  • Pom-Pom
  • Glitter
  • Elastic
  • Glue gun
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Craft knife

Procedure

  • Print and cut out the dog mask template.
  • Trace the template onto the back of a paper plate, or draw it if need be, try to match the curved edge of the template to the curved edge of the plate then trace. Make sure to trace the bottom of the mask, the eyes and the three slits at the top of the mask. Using scissors cut out the mask from the plate.
  • Cut slits at the top of the mask, making one long cut straight down the line. Using a craft knife cut out the eyes of the mask. Cut out ears from the other half of the paper plate.
  • Using glue gun stick the top of the mask together, while slightly overlapping the right side over the left to give it some shape. Repeat the process for all three slits.
  • Paint the mask face and ears. Add glitter by putting glue where you want the glitter to be. Sprinkle glitter and let it dry.
  • Once dry glue the ears onto the face. Take a pom pom and use it for the nose.
  • Using a hole punch, make holes on both sides and string through with elastic. Enjoy your finished mask.
