Wanna make some beautiful flower wind chimes for your house at weekends? How about this beautiful pink rose wind chime with pearl dangles? I’m sure you love pink rose flowers. This tutorial shows how to make rose flowers and a pink rose flower wind chime which is made by pink felt and pearl beads.
Supplies you’ll need:
- 3mm White Glass Pearl Beads
- 8mm White Glass Pearl Beads
- 6mm White Glass Pearl Beads
- 15x9mm Drop Acrylic Beads
- 1.5mm Green Aluminum Wire
- Pink Felt Paper
- Needle
- Cotton Thread
- Glue Gun
- Side Cutting Plier
- Flat Nose Plier
Step 1: Prepare a piece of pink felt paper and draw a flower outline pattern on it.
Step 2: Tailor the felt according to the outline that you’ve draw.
Step 3: Roll the felt from the end with tweezers evenly.
Step 4: Glue the bottom of the rose with hot glue.
Step 5: Repeat the procedures to make enough felt roses in different sizes.
Step 6: Cut a piece of white cotton thread, thread it through a needle and thread the needle through a pink felt rose and a 6mm white pearl bead.
Step 7: Thread the needle through the pearl bead from the opposite direction in order to fix the pearl bead.
Step 8: Add more roses and pearl beads according to your own preference, making the biggest felt rose flower in the bottom.
Step 9: Thread needle through a pearl drop bead and a 3mm pearl bead, then thread needle back through the pearl drop bead.
Step 10: Tie knot and cut the excessive thread.
Step 11: Snip off a piece of 1.5mm green aluminum wire, roll it into a hoop with several rolls.
Step 12: Twist the last roll around the hoop, leaving enough wires alone.
Step 13: Build a string line as if dividing the hoop into 2 parts.
Step 14: Twist the wires along the line.
Step 15: Glue some felt roses on the hoop.
Step 16: Snip off another piece of aluminum wire, attach each end of it to the hoop.
Step 17: Tie the dangles to the hoop one by one.
Step 18: Twins the wire to make a ring for hanging.
Step 19: Tie the roses to the hoop.
Step 20: Make more rose dangles and tie them with the hoop.
