Quilled Valentine’s Day Cards

Paper Quilling is a sort of art that’s done by cutting paper into long, thin strips, then the paper strips are formed in several shapes by rolling and pinching the pieces, then adding glue to the shapes together which will make very decorative art. Paper Quilling typically uses for decorating cards, gift boxes, gift bags, picture frames, or making 3D stand-alone art pieces, which may make everybody in wonder. One of the advantages of doing this is often the expansion of concentration. You’ll calm your mind and deduct stress by doing this. Today you’re getting to learn some Quilling flower greeting cards. Quilling Project – Valentine’s Day Cards

Materials:

  • Quilling strips
  • Paper sheets (one fourth)
  • A scale
  • A sketch pen
  • Quilling pen
  • Craft glue
  • Circle Sizer.
  • Scissor.

Procedure:

First Greeting Card:

  • Take a Quilling strip and one-fourth of a paper sheet, place the sheet on your desk.
  • Take a Quilling pen and the strip, roll the strip around the killing pen to make a coil.
  • Take out the coil from the pen.
  • Place the coil over a circle sizer’s big circle shape.
  • Pull the coil out.
  • Pertain glue on the coil’s end to secure it.
  • Make one more of it. We will need two same colour and size’s coil.
  • Take the two coils, pinch one side of them to give a teardrop shape.
  • Follow these steps and six more teardrops. Each two should be in the same colour.
  • Grab a sketch pen and a scale, make four straight lines on the paper sheet with them.
  • Make a big and then small, follow it on further lines as well.
  • Draw cute ribbon shapes in the middle of the lines with a sketch pen.
  • Take the teardrops and attach two each at the bottom of the lines.
  • Glue each teardrop as a heart shape.
  • Write ‘I love you” or any loveable quote you want to write at the bottom of the sheet with a sketch pen.
  • Your first greeting card will be ready!

Second Greeting Card:

  • Take a quilling strip and one-fourth of a paper sheet, place the sheet on your desk horizontally.
  • Take a quilling pen and the strip, roll the strip around the quilling pen to make a coil.
  • Take out the coil from the pen.
  • Place the coil over a circle sizer’s big circle shape.
  • Pull the coil out.
  • Pertain glue on the coil’s end to secure it.
  • Make a total of ten coils. Use different shades of the same colour and make each two coils in the same colour.
  • After the ten coils are ready, pinch one side of them to give a teardrop shape.
  • Grab a sketch pen and make a tree bark and branches on the sheet.
  • Make five vertical lines on the tree branches you draw.
  • Draw a cute bow on top of the lines with the sketch pen.
  • Take the teardrops, glue two each colour teardrops on the lines like a heart shape.
  • Write ‘I love you” or any loveable quote you want to write at the bottom of the sheet with a sketch pen.
  • Your second greeting card will be ready!

Third Greeting Card:

  • Take a quilling strip and one-fourth of a paper sheet, place the sheet on your desk.
  • Take a sketch pen and scale and make lines according to the reference video.
  • Take a quilling pen and the strip, roll the strip around the quilling pen to make a coil.
  • Take out the coil from the pen.
  • Place the coil over a circle sizer’s big circle shape.
  • Pull the coil out.
  • Pertain glue on the coil’s end to secure it.
  • After getting ready with the coil, Pull the centre down and pinch one side.
  • Take the quilling pen, press it in the centre of the border side of the coil.
  • Look, it creates a Heart shape!
  • You can give some shapes to it using the quilling pen.
  • Follow these steps and make around thirty of these.
  • You will need the coils as many as the lines you drew on the sheet.
  • Take the coils and glue them around the top of the straight lines and put the left hearts around the sheet to make it more beautiful.
  • Write ‘I love you” or any loveable quote you want to write at the bottom of the sheet with a sketch pen.
  • Your third greeting card will be ready!
