How to make a 3D paper quilling dome
Materials:
- 10 Paper quilling strips ( five one colour and five different colours)
- Quilling pen
- Quilling Mold
- Craft glue
Procedure:
- Take 10 strips( five one colour and five different colours) then attach the strips of alternative colour to make a long strip with craft glue.
- After the longer strip is ready, take a quilling pen and roll the strip in it. That will make a big coil.
- Take out the coil from the quilling pen.
- After the coil is done try to level it.
- Pertain glue on the coil’s end to secure it.
- Takedown the coil, and take the quilling pen and use it to roll over the coil and ensure that the level is proper.
- Place your fingers underneath the coil and push it up.
- Take the quilling Mold, put the coil into a circle mould, use the size Which matches with the coil.
- Push the coil down in the quilling Mold.
- After the shape is properly formed, put the coil out of the mould.
- Apply some glue on the top sides of the coil.
- Spread the glue with your fingers.
- It will give a glossy finish to the dome.
- Apply some glue underneath the bottom as well. Spread it well.
- That will help it to glow even more.
- Your 3D quilling dome will be ready
